My husband and I went in to Kia around December 2024 looking for a new vehicle, but we werenāt sure what we wanted or could afford at the time. Kino was generous and informational. Went in to get warranty work on my 2020 Kia Rio because the trunk latch broke. They weasled their way out of the repair by claiming my 2020 Kia Rio was a December of 2019 of 2020 Kia Rio and said my warranty was expired despite having less than 60,000 miles. To make matters worse, they tried to sell me on additional repairs such as a head gasket that I absolutely don't need since mine isn't damaged in the slightest. Called to schedule oil & filter change. Service was able to get me in at 1230. Perfect for me. Covered drivers seat and floor while in service. Angela was very kind checking my car in and efficient checking out . When I returned, my car was ready.

The work for the recall was done great but when i checked the work, the installer but a deep scratch under the window. Itās about 1-1 1/2 inch long. I put black pen to it but still Very noticeable. I should have been informed about the damage but nothingā¦

I walked in the door and was instantly greeted by Kino. He found out exactly what I needed and brought the car for me to test drive. Everyone was friendly and tolerant of my many questions. I was taken on a tour of the place. I love my 2025 Kia Sportage.
UPDATE Mr. Thomas at gene messer Kia, Lubbock, never returned my phone call or emails to make it right as he claimed he would do, not happy with service and especially customer service , bad bad reviews, do not recommend, very bad experience!!!
I always take my jeep to get an oil after about a month I needed washer fluid and my husband notice the top was gone and they never told me if they found it. Got a text about the inspection being done but not that it was ready or a call that day I had to be at work so I was in a rush due to not being called or text that it was done.They guy said oh it was a message error after 2hours and 35 min.They are okay just make sure your parts are there and ... Great customer service. Adam took great care of us. We're from New Mexico and were on our way to Lubbock for an appointment. We reached out to the dealership about a Yukon we were really interested in. Adam was very responsive had it ready for us to test drive when our appointment was done, and we left with it the same day. The whole process was fast and easy, and the staff was friendly. We love our new car. Would definitely return for future purchases!
Given time of 1 - 2 hours . I had to ask if the work was completed.
Not timely whatsoever. Upwards of 4 hours for just an oil change and tire rotation.
Ok work I guess, but believe overcharged of $589 for only diagnostic without telling me how much it would to diagnose before diagnosis and inspected things I did not want inspected only wanted hose and thermostat replaced I believe I was taken advantage due to my misfortune of having my daughters car in desperate need of repair and towed to dealership and now my daughter says both headlamps are not working which were working fine before I had left it at dealership and I had recently replaced one of the headlamps! Not satisfied!

John from the Service Dept, is incredible! Literally is the best! Really takes his time with the customers! Went above and beyond! We went in with couple issues with my vehicle, he left me know every step of the way the status. We came from out town and put us in a rental so we wouldnāt have to wait very long! John definitely needs to be promoted or definitely given a raise! Great person!!

I live in Albuquerque and make it a point when I visit my daughter in Lubbock to have my 2022 Kia Stinger serviced at Gene Messer Kia. I bought the car from GMK and theyāre the only place Iāve ever had it serviced. Always easy to set up appointments, always keep me up to date on any issues found and they even provide an Uber ride while my car is being serviced.

The worker was respectful, but he was dry, short and did not smile. There was a discrepancy with the amount changed. He corrected the amount but did not communicated what had happened.
