Thank you for visiting the ever growing Kia family! You have decided to enter one of the main vehicle organizations in the world, and we are delighted to have you. Now is the time to decide between buying or leasing your new car. This has to be done with great care and great consideration, since the options can be complicated, likewise, we intend to help you make a perfect choice.

Buying and Leasing are two completely unique solutions to obtaining your new car, and you should analyze a variety of elements before making your choice.

The Vehicle Is Yours – When you complete the auto loan payment, you can keep your car indefinitely New Vehicles Every Few Years – When the lease contract is complete you can get a new automobile without the trade-in inconveniences
No Mileage Limitations – You can put as many miles in your vehicle as you want Mileage Limits – You are going to be limited to how many miles you can journey each year
Vehicle Maintenance Responsibility – If your vehicle needs service, the cost for maintaining and service it is on you Vehicle Maintenance is Covered – In most lease agreements, the vehicle’s maintenance and service is on us
Need A New Ride? – You’ll have to sell or trade-in your old one and buy a new one Time For A New Kia? – When your lease is up, you can get a new vehicle the same day, hassle-free

How long do you usually keep your vehicle?

We want you to answer this question in terms of years. 1-3 years? 4-5 years? 6 or more years? Look at your ownership history and be confident in your answer before moving forward. Some vehicles are used as weekend leisure cars, others you may use to pick the kids up from school or commute to work, and so on. These journeymen tend to rack up the most miles. Think about where your new Kia fits in the big picture.

How many miles a year do you drive?

On average, how many miles a year do you typically put on your vehicle?

  • Less than 15,000
  • 16-30,000
  • More than 30,000

Consider the use of your motor vehicle in the future – Will your trip be the same in five years as it is now? In our lives, where, when and how we use our cars tends to change. Families grow and evolve, or we can even add additional drivers to the registry. All this must be taken into account when considering when deciding between the lease or purchase of Kia, so plan meticulously.

Which method do you usually choose when upgrading to a new vehicle?

  • Trade in my existing vehicle for a new one.
  • Sell my existing vehicle before I buy a new one.
  • Keep my vehicle once I have paid it off.

Financially speaking, we all have different preferences and reasons for updating our vehicles. Analyze if you are leaning more towards frequently hopping up to the newest model, or if you are more into building your own automobile collection. Perhaps you have a child approaching driving age and needs a first car. Indeed, you may have even grown fond of your current vehicle and have the financial means to add to your automotive family. Whatever your situation, plan accordingly.

How did you acquire your existing vehicle?

  • Lease
  • Finance
  • Cash

If you aren’t entirely happy with how your current payment method or plan worked out, maybe it’s time to make a change. On the other hand, you may be perfectly happy with how things have been going. Make this analysis before completing your Kia lease deal.

When you bring your new Kia home, how do you plan to treat it?

Whether you’ve just signed up for a brand new Kia Rio or selected one of our hybrid or hatchback lease deals, think about ways you may plan to physically alter your vehicle. If you’ve decided to lease your car, it will most likely need to remain in factory condition. One reason you may want to elect to buy is that you plan to make slight modifications or even completely customize your vehicle. If you choose to do this, you may violate the terms of your lease agreement. Speak with your dealer about these provisions.

How do you view the importance of your vehicle’s warranty?

If you have owned vehicles in the past or currently have a vehicle warranty, do you typically:

  • Replace your vehicle before its factory warranty expires.
  • Have a full inspection done on your vehicle before its factory warranty expires.
  • Ignore if your car is under warranty or not.

How you handle your warranty and its restrictions can greatly affect the re-sale or trade-in value, and even if you qualify for new leases.

How do you plan to service your vehicle?

Top-of-the-line and luxurious brands of cars don’t exclusively deserve to be brought into an authorized manufacturer or dealer service center. Depending on the terms of your lease, the moment your vehicle is serviced by anyone other than a certified and registered brand technician, you may be voiding your contract. Whether you perform the maintenance yourself or take it into your local service center, when leasing you must review the terms carefully. Ensuring that you adhere to the stipulations of that contract dictate if you can continue to lease, or if perhaps you might consider becoming a full-on buyer.

Take a moment to look at our Kia Finance page to answer any further questions you may have regarding the specifics of your choice. Make sure you consider each option wisely.

Before stepping into one of our many dealerships and speaking with one of our certified agents, make sure that you do your homework and come prepared with a list of questions so that you and your friends at Kia can get you on the road as soon as possible!

My car broke down on my way to lubbock, they had made it a point to get my vehicle in that same day and was informed that it was the engine needing to be replaced. They worked with the extended warranty getting me a new engine and rental car while I waited. They were kind and understanding through the whole process. They worked diligently. They have been a big help. Everyone I came in contact with was kind and reassuring and very helpful.

We just bought our Sorento in Feb. In June, the motor locked up. They replaced the motor and rented a car for us while they was replacing the motor. I won't go anywhere else to buy a car. They worked with us and got our car going again.
